DIAFREEWIFI This...

Here I am at the Denver Airport on their "ad sponsored" DIAFREEWIFI wifi network. To whoever set that up, the caps lock key is right next to the 'a' on your keyboard. Turn it off.

Denver, kudos for the 'free' wifi... but it doesn't seem to work with my VPN software. I see from their FAQ that "there may be some issues with Cisco VPN software" and I should "contact my IT group for support." Um. Yeah, I'll see you there...

So right now, all the network's good for is surfing and, er, blogging complaints.

Sigh.

Diafreewifi is a total joke. It took me over 45 minutes to be able to get any internet service, and after 1hr and 15 min I still had not accompished a single task. I was trying to reply to a yahoo e-mail! This was Tuesday, mar 17th, between 5 and 7pm. What a joke. Don't expect to get anything done here on this free wifi!!
